Singapore Evening Food Tour
Singapore Evening Food Tour Details
When the sun sets, Singapore comes alive in lights, flavors, and stories. Ready to discover the city's best bites and experience its vibrant nightlife? Then we'll meet at Lau Pa Sat at the designated time to start this evening food tour of Singapore!
First, we'll explore Lau Pa Sat, a historic Victorian market now turned into a hawker center or cooked food center. Did you know it was first built as a fish market? Here, the guide will share its history as you see its stalls selling a variety of local cuisine and try its famous satay!
Afterward, we'll walk for about 10 minutes to head to Shah Alam Restaurant, a place loved by locals for decades, where you'll try its star dishes: prata and curry. Then, we'll go to the Esplanade Waterfront, just 15 minutes away for a stroll to enjoy its scenic views. This waterfront location was the venue for one of Singapore's largest satay outlets until it was relocated to Clarke Quay after building the important performance arts venue, the Esplanade - Theaters on the Bay, popularly known as The Durian.
Next, we'll cross the Singapore River to head to the Clifford Pier, located 10 minutes away. This pier, once a landing point for migrants, is now a chic dining spot on Marina Bay with a selection of local, Asian, and Western dishes. We'll then walk for 20 minutes to continue our food tour by visiting Singapore's premier riverside nightlife and entertainment hub, Clarke Quay Central. This shopping mall features colorful, restored 19th-century shophouses with bustling bars, nightclubs, and restaurants along the Singapore River.
Lastly, we'll walk for 15 minutes until we reach the Fullerton Hotel, a luxurious 5-star hotel. Originally known as the Fullerton Building and the General Post Office Building, it was designated as a national monument of Singapore in 2015.
Finally, we'll head back to our starting point, where we'll end our evening food tour after 3.5 hours.
