Oxford University Guided Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at 15 Broad Street, inside the Oxford Tourist Information Centre and start a tour around Oxford University, one of the oldest universities in the world.

We'll travel back in time, although the exact date of the founding of Oxford University is not known. However, we'll delve into history to discover the reasons that led Henry II of England to ban English students from attending the University of Paris, leading to the rise of Oxford University.

During the guided tour, we'll walk around the exteriors of some of the most outstanding colleges, such as Balliol College, All Souls College, Trinity College, Oriel College or Merton College - which one is the oldest, we'll find out! We'll also see the unique chapel of St Mary's Gothic Church and get to explore the famous Bodleian Library.

To complete the tour, we'll visit one of the oldest colleges of the institution, such as Brasenose College or New College, the latter of which was used as a setting in Harry Potter! After a two-hour tour of Oxford University, we'll return to the starting point and end the guided tour.
