Swarovski Crystal Worlds: A Museum of Pure Luxury

Due to its status as one of the world's leading cut crystal manufacturers, or perhaps because of the magical fantasy world it offers, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds Museum is a place full of beauty and an unmissable spot if you're visiting Innsbruck.

As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by the green giant that guards the Chamber of Wonder, one of the museum's main attractions. Here, you'll discover 18 rooms adorned with twinkling Swarovski crystals. You'll also admire authentic works of art such as dresses, gloves, accessories or shoes inlaid with crystals.

You can also explore its gardens, where you can find everything from ancient Roman excavations to areas for strolling, such as the labyrinth or the lake of mirrors, and spaces for the youngest members of the family, such as the carousel. It will be a visit full of surprises!

The Chamber of Wonder houses different exhibitions depicting Swarovski's relationship with the world of fashion, film, and art. The main rooms are as follows:

Silent Light: a poetic winter landscape where 150,000 crystals are combined with real snow to reflect on the beauty and fragility of our natural world.
Umbra: artist James Turrell invites visitors into an immersive world of color and atmosphere, revealing the emotional essence of crystal through light.
Pulse Voronoi: Rafael Lozano-Hemmer transforms thousands of crystal elements into a living installation that pulses with the hearts of visitors.
Chandelier of Grief: a mesmerizing installation by Yayoi Kusama, where infinite reflections surround a rotating crystal chandelier.
Crystallizing Identity: inspired by the legend of the red thread of fate, Chiharu Shiota explores human connection and memory in an immersive spatial installation.
The Art of Performance: a room filled with celebrity costumes and props from films such as Cinderella and The Wizard of Oz.
Crystal Dome: built with 595 mirrors, it creates an optical illusion that will make you feel like you're inside a Swarovski crystal.
Ready to Love: a sparkling staircase filled with messages of love.
El Sol: an artistic vision of humanity's relationship with the sun, featuring 2,880 custom-made crystals.
